An APEX Semester

APEX classes are anything but ordinary.
Join us in a walkthrough of a typical semester.

Getting Started

Engineering Sector

The Engineering Technology & Robotics course will focus on the rapidly growing industry of robotics and the role of advanced manufacturing. Learn about high-demand and high-paying careers associated with the subject that include, but are not limited to, robotic manufacturing, process engineering, fabrication, machine design and materials handling.

Technologyandrobotics

APEX has put me in a position where I can not only learn vital professional skills but add value to my learning by doing real work.

Real-world Projects

Experience a variety of processes related to automation and advanced manufacturing. Design robotic and advanced manufacturing work cells, develop procedures for automated inspection and manufacturing systems, perform job safety analysis, and design custom parts and prototypes for clients. Become familiar with industry-standard safety procedures and software for CNC manufacturing, CAD, programming, robotic simulation, and electronics.

Hard at Work

Connect with industry partners to explore projects and career opportunities such as manufacturing and industrial engineer, process development engineer, control systems, computer integrated manufacturing, robotics programming and repair technicians.

Enhance & Learn

Expect to gain a variety of technical and professional skills including designing for manufacturability, executing workflow from design concept to product creation, creating control sequences that instruct robotics to complete automated tasks, and integrating robotics into the manufacturing process.

Invaluable Experience

Learn to problem solve, think outside the box, create and take on real world challenges. By engaging in real-world projects with clients you’ll develop professional relationships, learn to network and build connections, develop a personal brand and a professional job search package.
